Our win-cgi script converts DOC files into HTML format, so that they can be intergrated into your site.
HTML documents load much faster and can be read by any web browser but original DOC documents require MS Word to be installed in order to view them.

DOC2WEB allow to read/open the any MS Word, WordPerfect, MS Write, Acrobat (pdf), Open Office documents, e-books (ePub, FB2) on server side and return the html-converted contents (to client browser).

The script don't use any external libraries (no MS Word/Office, no ADO etc) and you may run this tool on computer without any additional setup/install. Very fast and don't eat a lot of server resources.

All MS Word documents supported with automatical unicode conversion (including Far-East and Middle-East languages).

Now engine supports the new MS Word 12 files from MS Office 2007/2010.

Only MS Windows platform for web-server supported.

The trial version have the next demo limitations:

• title and header of generated html-stream contains the trial warning
• only 50 top lines loaded from document

After license purchase and activation of registered version (using personal serial number) the any limitations will be removed.

* one license allow to work with this software on one web-server. You need as many licenses as the web-servers wherein our product will be installed and/or used.
** all prices are presented in Euros but registration service have a multi-currency payment system with automatical conversion into local currency (for example, in USD, GBP, AUD etc)

- unzip files from download zip-archive
-copy the doc2txt.exe to any virtual directory of IIS (usually c:\inetpub\wwwroot folder) or any other web-server)
- open the browser (Internet Explorer) and type the next URL:

http://localhost/doc2txt?filename=yourfile.doc
or
http://www.yourdomain.com/doc2txt?filename=yourfile.doc

where yourfile.doc is a real file name and as result your doc-file will be loaded in browser as html

If you want o load first page only from document, include the "firstpage=true" parameter:

http://localhost/doc2txt?filename=yourfile.doc&firstpage=true

Of course, if your doc-files are in another directory (not in wwwroot), you must specify a full file path. For example:

http://www.yourdomain.com/doc2txt?filename=C:\Data\yourfile.doc

• Delivery is done by sending you the zip-archvie with fully registered version via email.
• Demo limitations and nag screens are removed
• Upgrades are free during 1 (one) year. You will be notified of updated versions and they will be send by e-mail on personal request.
• Technical support by e-mail (please quote your serial number) during 1 (one) year.
